About Clarion Heights Campground

We have always enjoyed camping and experiencing the great outdoors! Our children took this concept further and opened our eyes to the possibilities on our own property. We utilized rocks and trees from the property to build the beautiful seating areas. Clarion Heights Campground is still a work in progress as we continue to add new features to our campsite.

Clarion Heights Campground has been previously used for its large stone, coal, and clay mine. The property has been virtually untouched for over 60 years. Beautiful views of the surrounding hills. Small private spot on the top of the hill. Lots of wildlife and close to many area attractions like 4 wheeler trails, fishing, hunting, boating, and more. Our campground features two lodging sites and three RV/Tent sites on 53 acres in Johnsonburg, PA. East Branch Dam, Twin Lakes and Bendigo State Park are only a 15-minute drive. In addition, the Elk Viewing Center, Kinzua Bridge, Kinzua Dam, and the Salamanca Casino offer some other things to see and do within 45 minutes of the campground. Private and state forest land filled with deer, turkeys, and various other wild life native to Pennsylvania surround our campground.
